- Description (english) Utilizing Super 8mm with an economical shooting method of quick, short shots to build idiosyncratic rhythms via rapid editing techniques which Matthew has been exploring in his recent work, time, space and the body fold in on themselves in Everybody Dies (2020). The experimental film is a poetic journey into the desert – it’s a reflection on the the queerness of existence and the nature of death as something not to be feared, but embraced as a part of an intimate and universal human experience.
