    Every director has his own cursed film. A journey so extraordinary that it can never be completed: impossible. Fellini named his own: The Journey of G. Mastorna. From this name on the label of an airport suitcase came the afterlife that knocked out our maestro. Direction, the hospital.
    This split screen imagines itself in Federico’s head before, during and after this fight. It’s an investigation filmed in the studio: an unbridled multiplication of snapshots of filming, of magical archives.

    Chaque réalisateur a son film maudit. Un voyage tellement extraordinaire qu’il ne peut jamais être mené à son terme : impossible. Fellini nomma le sien : Le voyage de G. Mastorna. De ce nom aperçu sur l’étiquette d’une valise d’aéroport naquit l’au-delà qui mit notre maestro KO. Direction l’hôpital.
    Ce double écran s’imagine dans la tête de Federico avant, pendant et après ce combat. C’est une enquête filmée en studio : une multiplication effrénée d’instantanés de tournages, d’archives magiques.
