Santo Rey Baltazar
- a Film
- by Juan Ignacio Slobayen

- Description (english) Near the city of Goya in the province of Corrientes (Argentina), every 5th and 6th of January at the Perichón’s family chapel, San Baltazar is worshiped through a celebration with procession, mass, music and dance. San Baltazar is a popular saint canonized by the people, not by the church. However, the devotees are mostly openly Catholic. The people from Corrientes, of very deep faith and religiosity, have turned different people, myths, legends and images into saints. One of these cases is the cult in honor of the Santo Rey Baltazar, which has an admirable value from the historical, cultural, religious and social point of view.
