Non-profitable association founded in 1999, l’Atelier cinématographique Ad libitum, is conceived as a laboratory which goal is to promote visual and sound arts. This atelier furnishes specific cinematographic equipments used for shooting, developing, printing, editing and Special FX processes for 8, S8, 16 and 35mm. It also shelters an analogic sound studio for sound recording, editing and mixing.
The activities evolve from special FX works and specific printing for film-makers, to experimental and amateur films’ restoration and protection, the conceiving and holding of pedagogical workshop sessions, programming and distribution.
This atelier is also a common place dedicated to creation and research, in picture as well as sound, welcoming film-makers and plastic arts artists and allowing them to pursue their artistic work by letting at their disposal all its equipment.
