Cherry Kino encompasses the work of artist filmmaker Martha Jurksaitis who offers Super 8 and 16mm filmmaking workshops to facilitate the use of analogue film in the UK.
Set up in 2009, Cherry Kino has helped hundreds of people to get started with DIY filmmaking, and has presented a large number of artist film screening events – often on 16mm – in a variety of unique spaces.
Currently, the focus is on practical filmmaking workshops rather than screenings, and hopefully people will continue to benefit from what it offers for many years to come!
