LAB TORRE

Laboratório da Torre, an experimental cinematic laboratory dedicated to analogue media. It is a cooperative structure open to the public, aiming to provide to a larger community the possibility to get into the practice, experimentation, production and training in the field of cinema and the visual arts. The Laboratório da Torre Experimental Film Lab is a tool for interconnecting local and international knowledge, housing creators from various contexts, exchanging training practices and activities in analogue media and allowing the viewing of work in progress and hosting a library and residency on site. It organizes international meetings, symposia and conferences on cinema, film creation and conservation, opening a space for scientific research and production, in order to guarantee the continuous learning of the evolution and developments in the area of analogue film.
