BURSTSCRATCH

Burstscratch is an atelier and a laboratory dedicated to filmmaking and located in Strasbourg-Neuhof in the Klebsau district. It gathers artists around the practice of filmmaking (films, performances, installations).

The Burstscratch atelier is a work and experimentation space that pools the knowledge and material needed to shoot in super8 and 16mm, black & white and color, development, 16mm copy, Super8 blow up, editing and projection.

This laboratory is open to anyone who wish to join. The users are initiated and trained so that they become autonomous in carrying out their work and can participate in the activities of the association.
Burstscratch organizes experimental cinema sessions by inviting filmmakers to show their works and to interact with the public.
The association can organize workshops on demand, for all kind of public, and can provide logistical and material support to any structure or cultural event that wishes to organize screenings or deal with films.
